What is the coverage of Den Braven Window Seal Plus?
Estimating sealant usage can be tricky. However, you can calculate the required amount with a straightforward formula considering the length, height, and depth of the joint. For example, if the joint is 5 metres long, 10 millimetres high, and 5 millimetres deep, you calculate 5 x 10 x 5 = 250 millilitres. One 330ml cartridge generally covers around 6 metres of joint.
How should I apply Den Braven Sealant?
Apply sealant using a caulking gun. Cut the tip of the cartridge off with a utility knife. Attach the nozzle to the cartridge opening and cut the nozzle at an angle that matches the desired width. Insert the cartridge into the caulking gun. Apply a steady bead of sealant in a controlled motion from left to right. Avoid over-applying. Wet your finger with soapy water and gently smooth the bead. Press lightly to ensure the joint remains water-shedding.
Is Den Braven Window Seal Plus paintable?
Yes, this sealant is paintable once it has dried. When you paint it with a chosen colour, the shade will remain unchanged.
