VP Platinum PU Tile Paint
VP Platinum PU Tile Paint is a high-quality, durable solution for painting tiles. This product is designed to resist not only cleaning agents but also hot water. VP Platinum PU Tile Paint is not only highly durable but also adheres exceptionally well, thanks to its thinner-based formula that binds firmly to the tile surface. Even glazed tiles are suitable for this coating. We can mix VP Platinum PU Tile Paint in any desired colour. However, keep in mind that this two-component product can be challenging to mix, so the colour might differ slightly. VP Platinum PU Tile Paint is incomparable to products from standard DIY stores. This paint adheres “for the long term” to stubborn surfaces and also resists cleaning agents and hot water.

How should I apply VP Platinum PU Tile Paint?
VP Platinum PU Tile Paint is a two-component product, requiring you to combine components A and B. Once mixed, you have 90 minutes to apply it properly.
We recommend the following preparation steps:
Thoroughly degrease the tiles first to remove all dirt. Don’t forget to clean the grout lines as well, as dirt tends to gather here. Always use a professional degreaser, not a cleaning product!
Next, sand the tiles to open their pores. After sanding, remove dust from the tiles. It’s crucial to follow this sequence for the correct application.
Then, you can start preparing the VP Platinum PU Tile Paint. Make sure everything is ready so you can begin immediately (the product is workable for 90 minutes). We recommend applying two coats, diluting the first coat by 10 to 15% with xylene, which is a special thinner for VP Platinum PU Tile Paint.
Always allow the first layer to dry for a day before applying the second coat. Apply the second layer undiluted. The coating then needs to cure, which takes about 7 days at 20°C.
You can walk on the tiles during this time, but avoid placing heavy loads on them.
