VP Red Lead Primer is fast-drying, moisture regulating, and provides an exceptionally smooth application. This product can be easily applied with a brush or roller.

What is VP Red Lead Primer used for?
VP Red Lead Primer is suitable for priming all metal and iron surfaces both indoors and outdoors. Additionally, this primer is also ideal for difficult surfaces such as plastic. It serves as a basecoat to improve adhesion between the surface and the paint, enhancing the overall finish. This product is user-friendly for both professionals and DIY enthusiasts. Known as "menie" in Dutch, it is excellent not only for metal surfaces but also for protecting wood against rot, as it penetrates deeply and protects both wood and concrete effectively against decay.
What is the coverage per m² of this product?
The coverage of VP paints is 12 to 14 m² per litre. However, based on experience, most painters achieve a coverage of 10 to 12 m² per litre. It’s always better to have a bit more paint than risk running out.
